Welcome to Embroidery by Meredith!
Hi, I’m Meredith, the maker behind Embroidery by Meredith. I create handmade embroidered jewelry, accessories, bookmarks, keychains, and hoop art. Originally from SW Michigan, now I live in Northwest Indiana with my husband, Christopher, and son Everett.
My journey into the world of handmade jewelry started years ago with a simple needle, a hoop, and a love for intricate details. Today, I create wearable art from my cozy home studio, transforming fine embroidery floss and fabric into unique, statement-making jewelry and accessories.
The Art of Wearable Embroidery
Every piece you see in my shop is completely hand-embroidered by me, stitch by stitch. I only use high-quality DMC cotton floss, linen, and other quality materials to ensure each necklace, keychain, and accessory is durable and beautiful! Additionally, each item is treated and protected with Scotchgard ™ Fabric Crafts Water-Shield which helps protects your piece from dust and oils.
Because everything is made entirely by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. You are truly getting a one-of-a-kind piece of art that you can wear every day.
Behind the Stitches
My creative process is slow and intentional. In a world full of fast fashion, I love the patience that hand embroidery requires. When I'm not designing new patterns or stitching on my comfy couch, you can usually find me spending time with family and anything outdoors.
